Matthew Harris is Executive Vice President, Technical & Asset Management for Milestone Aviation Group. In this role, he is responsible for asset management, helicopter acquisitions and dispositions, value-added programs and OEM relationships.
Matt previously led owner and employee services at NetJets as an executive vice president. For 13 years, he was responsible for service delivery to more than 5,000 corporate and high net worth customers, focusing on customer experience, ownership retention and relationship management. Further, Matt has significant aviation operations experience through his management of the flight dispatch, trip planning, meteorology, scheduling and crew communications departments. He worked closely with aircraft maintenance and flight operations in managing the day-to-day global operations of the NetJets fleet.
Matt brings a wealth of aviation experience and expertise in his various leadership roles, having also managed service quality, metrics and analysis, corporate recruiting and hiring, corporate training, human resources, compensation and benefits, and labor relations during his tenure at NetJets. He also led the design and implementation of industry-leading service education and service delivery techniques that elevated NetJets service to its position as the world’s best. Over the course of this initiative, Matt and his team assessed and evaluated all aspects of internal and customer-facing service and developed new policies, procedures and training for all personnel, from pilots to mechanics and from back-office staff to customer-facing service employees.
Matt is an accomplished private pilot. He holds a BS in aviation management from Florida Institute of Technology.
