Founded in 2010 by aviation and leasing industry veterans, our team was first to establish global long-term helicopter leasing as an alternative financing option for an underserved sector that lacked access to capital.

In 2021, AerCap acquired GECAS and as part of the transaction, Milestone Aviation became an AerCap company. As the market leader in aircraft, engine, and helicopter leasing, AerCap is a powerful aerospace company that is fully committed to all its customers and the industry segments in which they operate. This scale has added unparalleled financial strength and stability, as well as 50 years of aviation and leasing experience to our already strong team.
