Milestone to deliver three AW139’s to TAS for offshore oil & gas missions

Dublin, 7th September 2021 - The Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), the global leader in helicopter leasing, today announced that they are to provide three AW139 helicopters to Thai Aviation Services Ltd. (“TAS”). TAS is a privately-owned helicopter operator based in Thailand. For over three decades, TAS has been playing a significant role as an air operator providing helicopter service for the offshore operations of oil and gas companies throughout the Southeast Asia region.

The three AW139 helicopters from Milestone will be used to support a multi-year contract recently awarded to TAS, together with its partner Helistar, an oil and gas company in Malaysia. Delivering in February 2022, the helicopters will be based in Malaysia and will commence missions shortly thereafter.
